Olympic Torch Relay

Through a partnership with Nework Communications in Rome and the Torino 2006 Organising Committee, Maxxam planned and implemented the operational aspects of the relay.

With full time staff based in Rome, we were responsible for developing and managing the overall project plan and subsequently participating in the operational delivery of the relay.

The Torino relay travelled 11,300 kms in 64 days, visiting all regions and provinces in Italy and a number of neighbouring countries and involved 10,001 Torchbearers.
